The CFA Library thanks Mr. ANDY EUGENIO (BFA ’69) for donating 107 volumes of books and 7 titles of periodicals to the College of Fine Arts Library. Through the years of his studies and practice of graphic design in the US since 1979, Andy accumulated a lot of design books and periodicals that often used as his references and starters. At this point of his career, he thought that “It’s time to share something back. I must give a lot of credit to the UP College of Fine Arts for helping me to be where I am today.” These books are now available for use by fine arts students.

Mr. Eugenio is an alumnus of the UP College of Fine Arts with a BFA degree in 1969. After graduation, he landed at Citibank, Philippines and stayed for almost seven years doing art direction and graphic design. Then, he got a scholarship/assistantship to pursue his graduate studies in graphic design at the University of Memphis (then Memphis State University). After graduation at the UoM, he decided to stay there for professional development. While there, he worked at the world headquaters of Citibank in New York, Holiday Inns in Memphis, and some Memphis advertising and direct marketing agencies. He is now presently working with FedEx Sales Programs and Events at the world headquarters in Memphis, still designing graphics for print and web. In 2007, Mr. Eugenio’s design won in the 2007 American Inhouse Design Awards by the editors of Graphic Design USA. –MMOmega
