The Index to Filipiniana Articles in Foreign Periodicals covering the period 1980-2006 is now available at the University Library.

The Index to Filipiniana Articles in Foreign Periodicals is a cumulative name subject index to periodicals published in foreign countries. It started in 1975 as part of the Index to Philippine Periodicals.

The main body of the Index consists of subject and author entries to periodical articles arranged alphabetically.

The index also includes Filipiniana articles found in online databases subscribed by the University Library aside from the print collection.

A list of periodical indexed and holdings were also included in the publication. Articles indexed come from leading popular and scholarly periodicals such as: Asiaweek, Business World, Diaspora, Economist, Feminist, Geographical Journal, History and Anthropology, International Journal of Food Sciences and Nutrition, Journal of Democrary, Newsweek, People Weekly, Reader’s Digest, Time, World Politics and many others.

Copies of the indexed materials were also made available at the Special Collection Section of the University Library as part of its collection and can be retrieved easilty upon request of users.
